People woke up to rainy morning a day ago, feeling the mild chill. The gust added to the shiver. It blew at the pace of 23 km per hour.

Forecast of rain was done earlier and it turned true. Most of the Delhi regions witnessed precipitation in a continuation. Being a holiday and thanks to rain, streets of the national capital, Gurgaon, Faridabad and Noida were not as populous as these used to be every weekend. If latest reports related to weather are to be mentioned then sky will get clear from Wednesday to Saturday. Rain may once again lash metropolis’ roads on Sunday. The humidity in the surroundings was felt slightly by the masses due to partly cloudy sky.

People are puzzled if same sort of scenario is going to last up to Holi and the upcoming 9-day long Navratri or it is just momentary. Rain could play spoilsport but weather is likely to be clear on the festive days.  Downpour continued on Monday as well when gentle wind combined with the unexpected showers to increase the frosty feel.  Mercury dipped considerably during the day as well as at night. Weather experts predict temperatures to go up a bit, bringing the comfort back. Maximum and minimum temperatures in the national capital for this week are supposed to vary in the range of 22 degree Celsius & 28 degree Celsius and 13 degree Celsius & 17 degree Celsius, respectively. Wind will blow at the speed of 10 to 34 kilometer per hour till Sunday, stretching the cold for some more days.

Inhabitants on Monday are probable to see the weather similar to that of a day ago. Rainfall will create trouble mostly for the office goers and school kids. Water-logging in several areas have been reported. Many people mentally geared up to see traffic jams while commuting from one place to the other during peak hours. Likelihood of thunderstorm remains on the cards for today. Pace of the wind will be 31 km per hour and humidity 78 percent.

Weather took a u-turn in Uttar Pradesh states as well. Cities like Lucknow and Kanpur witnessed rainfall. Things are not going to change any further on Monday too. Doctors advised populace to properly dress in warm clothes given that careless attitude could be responsible for making them fall sick. “To avoid untimely seasonal sickness, thin layer must be put on. Besides this, rather than eating the outside food, it would be great to eat freshly made home cuisines as nothing can beat its nutrition, flavor and cleanliness”, they stated further.
