Late Night Rainfall, Lightning Stop Approaching Summers to Gain Ground in Capital

rainNew Delhi, Monday, March 30 – Rain predictions turned true when residents of Delhi witnessed rainfall with lightning on Sunday night. Probability of showers was strong right from the early hours as people woke up to an overcast sky a day ago. The weather remained pleasant throughout the entire day.

This made many people to come out of their houses and enjoy it in the best way possible. Several youngsters gathered in bunches at India Gate with family and friends to spend quality time which was getting difficult with rising mercury in the previous week. The downpour was accompanied by thunder and lightning, lashing more than a few streets of the national capital and NCR at a time when inhabitants were all set to sleep.

The sudden change in climatic conditions curtailed approaching summers from getting intense. Not to forget that temperature in April 2014 was bearable. Likelihood of experiencing almost same sort of weather this year is on the cards. Weathermen anticipate more rainfall this week. Precipitation chances are strong today as well in Delhi. According to reports related to climate, 80 percent showers and 63 percent humidity will keep the atmosphere colder than expected. Some would even get the hint of early winter thanks to mercury dropping considerably up to quite a few notches. Maximum and minimum temperatures will vary in the range of 27 degree Celsius & 33 degree Celsius and 18 degree Celsius & 22 degree Celsius, respectively. Speed of the gust will promptly increase from 10 km per hour to 26 km per hour.

Skies with partially clouds will increase dampness from 43 to 64 percent but that won’t be bothering as a result of pleasant surroundings. Rain may last for three days in a row. All in all, the conditions will remain soothing for next 5 to 6 days due to the downpour in the city. Extreme sunshine might not be observed this week. People gear up to enjoy rain and have the plans for outing with loved ones during the weekend. Many of the Uttar Pradesh regions will also see showers wetting streets in the daytime today. However, these are probable to last only for a day or two.
