Hopes Surge from Dhoni’s Squad as Youngsters Gear Up for Tri-Series in Australia

kohliNew Delhi, Thursday, January 15 – Less than a day time remains for the Tri-series to start. India, England and Australia are anticipated to put forward fantastic play as the motto is to reach to the grand finale, which is slated to take place on W.A.C.A. Ground, Perth on February 1. India though lost Border-Gavaskar trophy by 2-0 in the lately concluded Test match series against the Australians on the foreign soil, taking their talent too lightly may cost Australia and England.

Indians are popular for playing the most unpredictable sport in highly unpredictable manner. When they seem to win the match, they lose and when stand in verge of defeat, victory is pocketed by them as soon as an individual outshines others and let audiences witness world-class cricket. One-Day International matches are enjoyable as the final outcome comes at the end of the day. With Mahendra Singh Dhoni to lead the team, having talented Virat Kohli, destructive hitter Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina, Stuart Binny, Axar Patel, Ravindra Jadeja, Ambati Rayudu, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ravichandran Ashwin, Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav, challenges are not going to be any less for the rest two playing XIs.

Kohli is a mix of passion and aggression. Rahane & Rayudu could be the game changers. Jadeja is a bagful of surprises. He has the capability to produce wicket at any stage, giving much needed breakthrough to the teammates. Beside this, he scores faster and isn’t hesitant of going for biggies when rivals try to build pressure by delivering a bowl in accurate line and length. Ashwin, Kumar and Shami have the ability to accumulate runs when only few wickets are left on the Indian side. Yadav too could be put on the same platform. Ishant although doesn’t impressively score and succumbs easily against the opponents but he is the player who can claim more than five wickets in one innings.

Since exactly one month time remains for the Cricket World Cup 2015 to kick off, all the groups that are getting an opportunity to play in ODI matches want to make best use of it. What could be a perfect chance for these three teams apart from playing in Australia, which is co-hosting the great tournament with New Zealand! Missing the action is what none could afford. Viewers are all set to support their teams and cheer for the players, who are the major source of taking their squads from one stage to the next. Before the cricket carnival starts, eyes are definitely struck on the performances shown by the cricketers in the ‘soon to begin’ tri-series.

The host and England will meet in the opening contest at Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney, on Friday. India will take on the Aussies in the 2nd game to be held at Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne, on Jan 18. A face off between Dhoni’s men and England will be witnessed at Brisbane Cricket Ground, Woolloongabba, Brisbane. The similar pattern of contesting each other will take place at Bellerive Oval, Sydney Cricket Ground and W.A.C.A. Ground on Jan 23, Jan 26 and Jan 30, correspondingly. The two teams which score higher by winning most of the matches will make their spot on the grand finale in Perth.

Kohli if managed to deal with his temper could rise as a more better player, who could show right path to the youngsters who haven’t played too much cricket in the overseas. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is likely to get his speed back and make rivals threw wickets on beautiful delivery. The motto to log victory would fulfill only when each player pours hundred percent efforts. Dhoni is, of course, a confident player and at the time of retirement from Test cricket last month, he said that he wants to pay focus on other formats of match.  He has the confidence to ask his teammate to stay on the other end if humongous target is to be achieved in limited overs. It is interesting to notice how far do India go in the upcoming tournament.
